With the American holiday season in full swing and 2022 knocking at our door, there’s a lot of joy to be felt and things to be thankful for looking back on 2021. Personally, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing each Screenfeed team member take changes that came with the year in stride, and power through months of hard work to bring some knock-your-socks-off projects to life for our customers and partners.
The last year has shone a spotlight on Screenfeed’s desire to provide the best support and digital signage content to the people and businesses we serve. New products were released, new people were hired, and new moves were made to make our business the best it can be for everyone, and it’s fun to look back and see how it all came together. Here are some of our 2021 highlights:
New Products
Bright Spots
In August, Bright Spots came to life in the form of 60-second viral video compilations. It features new groups of people, animals, and feel-good moments that gather a lot of attraction as viral content. We were so proud to offer our first product centered around viral content from social media!
Cryptocurrency for Financial Graphics
Crypto conversations are hot, hot, hot right now which made them a natural addition as a digital signage content configuration option in Financial Graphics. Now that they’ve become so popular and so many have chosen to invest or get involved in cryptocurrency, people are equally invested in the market ups n’ downs, which this content informs on multiple times a day.
New Faces
In August, Hunter Seuntjens was brought on to the team as our new Technical Support Director. He brings a bright attitude, a curious mind, and a knack for speaking both developer and support language to make the flow of our teams that much smoother. He’s been working on projects that allow Screenfeed to provide superior support and expertise to customers not only for digital signage but also for players, software, and other pieces of the digital signage network puzzle.
No New Trade shows… Until Next Year!
2021 we experienced COVID tradeshow pains with the rest of the world, but we’re excited to be back at it in 2022 with the Digital Signage Experience (DSE) in Las Vegas. We haven’t attended a show since 2019, so it’s safe to say we’re itching to get back onto the show floor and talk to our friends and connections we’ve missed in person in the industry. Vegas doesn’t sound too shabby, either!
New Website
The Screenfeed website will be getting a facelift in the early months of 2022 that will provide a great experience for those looking to learn more, explore, and purchase digital signage content products. Many hours have gone into this one, and we hope you love the new look and user experience as much as we do - stay tuned.
New (Remote) Locations
In June, Screenfeed made the switch to being a completely remote company. We’ve been enjoying a lot more zoom meetings and a lot less commuting over the last few months. It’s been great to have the Screenfeed team adapt and be comfortable in their new home environments, and find ways to thrive with additional moments with their families, more home cooked meals, more travel opportunities, and other things that come with being away from an office on a regular basis. Everyone is well-adjusted now which will carry us well into 2022.
A Note From Our CEO
"I'm very proud of the Screenfeed team over the past two years. We’ve taken this time during the pandemic to really stop and consider how we can deliver real help to our customers. We’ve been hard at work building a brand new service that will launch in the first quarter of next year. Its purpose is to save you time, money and enable projects you previously wouldn’t have considered. We’re so excited to share it with you."
- Jeremy Gavin, Screenfeed CEO
See you all in 2022!
